Astrobase is a Bengaluru-based spacetech startup developing two-stage reusable launch vehicles capable of carrying payloads between three and ten tonnes. The company recently unveiled Everest, India's first 80-tonne-class, 800 kN full-flow staged combustion rocket engine, which is being developed for reusable launch vehicles. The startup is targeting an initial orbital launch in 2028.
